As my test message showed up I'm going to try one more time to post a
question.

I'm running an OEM ver of WinXP Pro 32 bit formatted for NTFS on my Dell
XPS 600. Now I wish to upgrade to Vista Ultimate. If I buy the upgrade
version, can I install it over the top of XP and reformat my entire hard
drive at the same time, wiping it completely clean so that ONLY the new OS
installation is on it?
Actually, I don't really want to have to re-install all my drivers and
such again, but I figure by this time my registry must be pretty dirty and
just doing uninstalls of each application isn't going to clean that up.
Does anyone have a suggestion for making this transition as clean and easy
as possible? Thanx in advance for your help!
