Trying to get rid of spyware

Hi I think I have lots of spyware in my computer, I have
downloaded spybot-S&D and when I run it I see lots of old
programs that I have deleted from my comp. After running
spybot for a couple of minutes it stops running and I
notice that my computer freezes. Ok my cpu goes to 100%
and nothing happens it always stop on the same file name.
This is the file or spyware name (2957/5835:c2.lop) any
idea what this is? Thanks I really apreciated.

P.S I have tried it on safe mode too.

When Spybot S&D "hangs" can you stop the scan? If so then you can still
clean up the problems it has found, exit the program, restart and scan
again. You can also let it find a whole bunch of problems, stop the scan
before it "hangs" and clean those and scan again. I've had to do that
before.

I also highly recommend AdAware - last time I ran Spybot S&D on a
severely pest-ridden PC and followed it with AdAware it found over 100
more problems Spybot missed - I've also seen Spybot find many things
AdAware missed, so use both.

If you're still having problems you may also have a virus problem so
don't overlook dealing with that.

Hello I hope this works try Lavasoft Adware they are from
Sweden and the have a free home version and it is very
good.
