When setting up bluetooth device on my computer I somehow removed the
bluetooth icon from my system tray. I now want to connect some bluetooth
devices to the computer and everything I have read says to start and stop
bluetooth services through the system tray icon. I have looked in the device
manager and it says that bluetooth is stopped. I went to administrative
tools and computer management to restart the service from there and it was
already running - I restarted anyway but I still get a message when trying to
do another bluetooth setup that no device was detected - which I take to mean
that the service is stopped. How can I get the bluetooth icon back on the
system tray?

Hello Pat,
Open Control Panel
Open Bluetooth Devices.
Choose the options tab.
Check the box "Show the Bluetooth icon in the Notification Area"
