Trying to find this setting - Help please

Can anyone tell me where I would find the following information so that I
can untick the check box. When using OE6 I always get the File Download
dialogue box where I have to confirm that I want to open up the image (jpg).
The Always ask before opening this type of file is ticked and greyed out so
I am not able to uncheck this box so that I don't get it again. I am
thinking there must be some setting that I have to alter somewhere else. I
am able to open these files after clicking on Open. I have already been to
Tools - Options - Security and unchecked the box not allowing me to open
attachments so that is not the problem.

Extract from the More Info on the File Download dialogue box I get on trying
to open jpgs in OE6

For the most security make sure the ALWAYS ASK BEFORE OPENING THIS TYPE OF
FILE check box is selected. If you feel confident that this type of file or
program is always safe to open or run directly from the Internet, make sure
this check box is cleared.

Note

The always ask before opening this type of file check box is not available
for some file types, such as files with the extensions .exe or .com, which
run programs or commands. When this check box is not available, you will
always be asked before opening this type of file.

After spending about 1.30 hrs on the phone to Microsoft for help with this
prog (and I am still in the same position as I was before) I have at least
ascertained one thing. It only appears to give me the problem with jpgs all
other extension open with any extra dialogue box in the programme specified.
If I set the default for jpg to Windows Fax & Viewer then it opens up
perfectly without the extra dialogue box. It is only with the default set
to PSP7 when I appear to have the problem.
Is anyone else opening up mail in OE6 with the default prog associated to
jpg being PSP7?
