Went to instal a 2nd hard drive, couldn't get to work
right, so I quit trying and put it back to how it was
hooked up before I started and now I can boot up. Keep
getting different error messages, lastest is a fatal error
in isass.exe
Any idea what's up. I don't know alot about this stuff,
but how could I screw up any data on the orginal hard
drive when I was just trying to hook another drive up?
Any help would be great.
Thanks
Scott

First Make Sure you have it set as a slave or CSL if your motherboard
supports Cable Select.

Right Click your My Computer Icon and select manage. You will see here your
drive.

If you are using XP format it as NTFS. Do not choose the quick format.

Hope this helps.

On Storage Select Disk Management, and you should see your drive

You need to follow Marks instructions on jumpering the drive and then go
into your motherboard bios on the boot and make sure it can see the drive.
If your bios doesn't see the 2nd disk then there's no need to boot into
windows because there's no way it will see it.
