Re:tired

I guess the last one didn't work. Here's the "beef":
When logging into Windows XP, all is fine except one account continues to
show "143 unread e-mail messages"!! Upon running the mouse over this
message, it turns out the e-mail address is a Hotmail account that belongs
to my son's best friend, who also has the same message on his computer when
he logs in!!! Is that bizarre or what?? Any ideas??
Thanks

Try this:
Click on Start -> Control Panel -> User Accounts. Select the username in
question, and then click "Manage my Network Passwords". Maybe this will
help.

The son's friend used your computer. While logged on under your user
account he accessed his hotmail account. Result: The information for his
account is now stored in your user profile. You can remove it by using
Control Panel> Users> (your account)> Manage .NET passwords. Remove his
account from this list. The welcome screen should reflect the change. If
not right away, on the next restart.
