This is strange, and I have never seen it before. I am
running version 6.0. This only works on one specific
website: www.ebay.com. When I try to load this url,
explorer takes me to a site called
www.shopathomeselect.com, and then closes the browser
window. I don't have any trouble trying to access this
url on other computers, only mine. I have typed and
retyped the url correctly. I also uninstalled version
6.0 and reverted to a previus version, and then
reinstalled. Still no luck. I wonder if I uninstall
explore completely, and then reinstall 6.0 if this may
help. However, windows won't let me do this, and neither
will norton systemworks because it is a protected file.
Has anybody else had trouble like this? Or, can you give
me tips on how to go about unintalling explorer? Thanks.

You have spyware installed. Try downloading Adaware or spybot. Once you run it on your system it will remove that. Did it myself. Thank GOD. I thought it was some new pop up and was relieved to find it wasn't.
