Try Before You BuyTemplate

I have developed a Template for Excel that does financial planning.
wish to offer this software for sale but would like to offer a dem
that could be used for a period of time and then would "lock" if no
purchased.

Any suggestions

this kind of security is not really possible with Excel. Any dtermined
user will overcome the protection mechnismn within minutes

The programs I have developed sell for $20 and $30 and would probably b
$5 less if I sell on the internet. Thus I'm not looking to protect th
crown jewels but just to encourage payment after successful trial.

Any thoughts with that addition?

You might be best if you lock some features out-full version allows more
flexibility, more features than the teaser.......youir teaser version also
has a "DEMO" watermark when printed, header and footer has details for
licensed version cost...etc.
