How to create external trust between 2 different domain ?

What is the difference between Active Directory integrated and secondary DNS
zone

the procedure to setup a trust is explained in:
external trust (if at least one of the domains is w2k AD or one of the w2k3
domains does not have forest functional level w2k3)

AD integrated zones are stored in AD and use AD replication instead of zone
transfer. Data is stored and changed securely. To be able to use AD
integrated zones DNS must be installed one or more DCs. All DCs are
considered primary for the data.
Secondary zones are read only and are transfered from primary DCs
