I have two domains

Domain A - AD domain in compatibility mode.
Domain B - NT 4.0 Domain

Now users in domain B access an application in domain A
via citrix/terminal server with their current domain B
user IDs.

They connect and run an OLAP application. The OLAP server
is a member of Domain A. the OLAP application requires
authentication when data is manipulated. Here is my
question - which domain does the OLAP server communicate
with. Does it communicate to the DC in domain A or the DC
in domain B?

any input is greatly appreciated.

The OLAP server should be communicating with the DC in Domain A. Likewise,
Domain should be trusting Domain B. IF the OLAP server is running on
Windows you can open a command prompt and type "set l" without the quotes.
This will tell you which server the OLAP server is using to authenticate
users.
