troubloe deleting emails cannot find scanpst

Hello:
When I try to delete an email I get the following message:

Errors have been detected in the file C:xxxxxxx.outlook.pst. Run the repair
tool, yadda yadda

I was not able to find the tool, and downloaded it to my desktop. Now when
I run this I get the error: this application failed to start because
scnpst32.dll was not found.

I am running outlook 2007, can someone help me out?
