Troubles with sending files behind the Microsoft Wireless Base Station router

V

Vasili Kostochkin

I'm trying to transfer files behind the router (Microsoft
Wireless Base Station MN-600 [Firmware V1.08.003]) My
Windows Messenger ver. 5.0.0381.

I did already:
Persistent Port Forwarding (TCP)
Inbound port Private port
20470 13545
62195 12628
25330 12484
34528 8736
22271 15856

Application-Triggered Port Forwarding (TCP)
Outbound port Inbound ports
1863 6891-6900

I also tried to turn off all security and Firewall.
STILL DOESN'T WORK.

Greetings Vasili,

You do not need to forward any ports -- in fact forwarding 6891-6900 to 1863 will cause it
*not* to work, remove that forward.

Windows Messenger 5 will automatically open the ports necessary for a file transfer to be
successful through the router, however if you have the built-in Internet Connection Firewall
engaged, you may experience a problem (and also remove that port forwarding). To turn off
the ICF, click Start, then All Programs, then Accessories, then Communications, then Network
Connections. Right-click your network/internet connection, then click Properties. Click the
Advanced Tab, and verify that the Internet Connection Firewall is unchecked.
