troubles setting up email

I'm trying to get my regular yahoo account added in. Since, I do not have a
yahoo mail plus account, will I be unable to add in my yahoo? I tried to do
what yahoo said for the regular accounts and this is the error message given
to me:


The connection to the server has failed. Account: 'pop.mail.yahoo.com',
Server: 'pop.mail.yahoo.com', Protocol: POP3, Port: 996, Secure(SSL): Yes,
Socket Error: 10060, Error Number: 0x800CCC0E

Yes. You must be a Yahoo Plus subscriber to be able to access your
(e-mail address removed) account in any Mail Client.
