Trouble with Windows Explorer

Recently I have been getting error messages and then a freeze-up of my
windows folders. The error messages are to be seen at Webshots below. I wd
be most grateful if anyone can help me to clear this problem. I have XP with
Sve pack 2 and very good anti virus and anti spy software. I am on BT
Broadband pretty well all day.
