trouble with java activation

Everytime I try to browse on certain web sites, a message
comes up telling me that I need to download the java. I
do that, and then it tells me that I already have it
downloaded. Then I also get another message telling me
that I need to activate java technology in your browser
to use Net Agent-Java Customer Client. How do I do this
and how do I get this java to work again. I have already
done a 2nd download. I was able to use java before and
had no problems...why now? I am using Windows XP. Thank

try downloading JAva VM from java.sun.com. Microsoft no
longer supplies Java VM.
