trouble with FP 2000

I've used FP 2000 successfully for 3 years on a PC (Win98) - I recently
bought a laptop (WinXP), installed my FP2000 program on this laptop, and
suddenly the program can't save a stylesheet. When I go in to modify a
simple style sheet, the program crashes and displays the annoying 'this
program encountered problems, send an error report to microsoft...' message.

I've tried inserting the FP CD in and 'repairing frontpage' to no avail.
Removing and re-installing doesn't work either. What can I do to get this
program to work correctly?!

Known bug, set .css files to be edited by Notepad under Tools | Options |
Configure Editors.

Thanks, Thomas -- does this bug occur only in windows XP? Just curious,
since I've edited style sheets without a problem for years using FP2000 in a
Win98 environment.
