trouble with digital image 2006

Can anyone help me with this: I just bought Digital Image 2006. Loaded it
into my Dell laptop no problem. I am running into problems with my desktop
HP. It seems that there is some conflict with the CD burner drivers (or so it
seems). When I load the program my computer can no longer recognize my DVD or
CD burners. Can anyone point me in a direction towards solving this puzzle?

unless you're using MS Access relational database software somewhere in
