Trouble with component in motherboard ALiveNF4G-DVI

Hello from Italy,

i have a motherboard ALiveNF4G-DVI with CPU ATHLON 64 DUAL CORE X2
6000 3.00GHZ AM2

the component marked in red in this picture (http://
farm4.static.flickr.com/3010/2964396046_e0e44e75bb_o.jpg) is broken
and i can't attach the cpu fan..

I try to find a new looking around in my city Genova but found
nothing..

Can you help me please?

Maybe you have the motherboard broken and you can send me the
component payng shipping price or maybe you hava another solution..

Look for "AM2 retention bracket". This one looks similar to yours.

Some heatsink manufacturers make "bolt thru" kits for
their heatsinks. Perhaps a different heatsink choice,
one with a bolt thru option, would work as a replacement.
There are also some here, where a custom retention bracket is
used instead.

At the very end of this document, you can see a "Big Typhoon"
heatsink, being bolted to an AM2 motherboard. The product
uses the backing plate already on the back of the motherboard.
If there is no backing plate, you'd have to find one.
