Trouble using wordpad

Hi all, ime new to using word pad on windows xp and having troube finding
some of the tools.
If anyone can tell me how to get to spell check, word count, thesauras, it
would greatly appreciated.

It doesn't come with those tools. Google for what you want and you'll find
some third party addons.

You are *not* that new.. Wordpad is *not* Microsoft Word. Wordpad is a
*word processor* in the loosest sense of the word. (*grin*) It is just
slightly more sophisticated that notepad - because some formatting is
possible.

If you are in need of a full-featured (and it seems you are) word processor,
you can purchases Microsoft Word 2003, Corel WordPerfect or some other such
application. There is also "OpenOffice" --> Which has most of the features
And is free.
