Lately I have been having trouble signing on. It says unable to connect. Do I
want to work offline. I hit retry and then it signs me on.
What's up?

Hi Joe. I am trying to help you here but I need a bit more information.
When you say signing on do you mean just going to a website and trying to
view it after you launch internet explorer or do you mean signing on to
something with a account like yahoo mail? Let me know and I will see what I
can do.
Best Regards,
Kaja

When I double click my IE desktop icon, it launchs to a MSN.Com Internet
explorer page with a blue top bar and a blank white page. Then this little
box appears that says, (and I wish I would write it down), "No connection to
the internet available. Your work will be saved... To continue to work
offline click Work offline or retry. It has "Work offline or Retry buttons. I
have gone to page options and unchecked the offline option.
I hit retry and it reconnects every time. I have Qwest broadband as my
provider.

It happened again. Here is the message in a small window-"Work offline- No
connection to the internet is currently available. To view Internet content
that has been saved on your computer, click Work Offline. Click Try again to
attempt to connect".
My selections are Work Offline or Try again. It works when I click try again.

Hi Joe, you do not want to work offline. There are so many reasons for not
being able to connect. In this case try calling Qwest as they are your
internet service provider. Tell them the issue and they should have some
free technical support. Hopefully they will be able to help you resolve the
issue with connecting. Let me know if this works.
Best regards,
Kaja

Wish I knew what I did but the problem seems to have gone away. Thanks.
