I have a PC that i just built. It as a 120Gb Sata (Western Digital) a sony 16x dvdrom, Floppy, p4 3Ghz, 512Mb Ram
When I try to install Windows XP home with autoboot it loads the drivers as per normal then says that I don't have a Hard Drive connected.
But when you restart and pc runs post it sees the sata drive .
Whats going on?? I am rather confused.

You have to watch the install and when it says something to the effect of
"Press F6 to Install 3rd Party Drivers", you have to install the drivers for
the sata controller, then proceed with the rest of the install.
