trouble sending messages out...

I'm having trouble sending messages out, but have not in the past. I just
set up a new email account for Windows Mail - could you please help. The
error was:

The message could not be sent. The authentication setting might not be
correct for your outgoing e-mail [SMTP] server. For help solving this
problem, go to Help, search for "Troubleshoot Windows Mail", and read the
"I'm having problems sending e-mail" section. If you need help determining
the proper server settings, please contact your e-mail service provider.

The rejected e-mail address was '(e-mail address removed)'. Subject 'hey', Account:
'webmail.sebts.edu', Server: 'webmail.sebts.edu', Protocol: SMTP, Server
Response: '550 5.7.1 Unable to relay for (e-mail address removed)', Port: 25,
Secure(SSL): No, Server Error: 550, Error Number: 0x800CCC79

If I found the correct site, take a look at these instructions for setting
up Outlook Express... Windows Mail is very similar, except it cannot access
http accounts.

Are you connected to the university network when you try to send?
Most email servers are now blocking port 25 access from non-network
computers.

The server 'webmail.sebts.edu' will not accept an SMTP request from
outside its network.

Since you have a Gmail account, why not use the Gmail SMTP server?
