Trouble sending HTML email with embedded? jpg file to AOL user.

Hi,

I haven't been able to confirm this, or check this out with other AOL users,
but when I create an Outlook 2003 HTML email message and "insert a picture"
into the message my friends using outlook receive my message and the picture
displays within the message area. However, my AOL friend doesn't see the
picture in the message part of the email messages and instead received the
picture as an attached file.

Anyone have some information, ideas, solutions to this problem.

My AOL friend would like to see the picture display within the message and
not have to deal with an attachment.

Anyone else have the same problem sending Outlook HTML messages with
inserted pictures to AOL users.

FYI: My AOL friend is using AOL ver. 9.

I've asked this question in some AOL newsgroups and haven't had any success.

Big Oops...

I learned that My AOL friend IS actually using Outlook 2003 BUT is using
Outlook to access his AOL email through AOL's new IMAP capability. So is
the embedded picture not displaying in the message section problem that I
described in my initial post an Outlook configuration problem, or an AOL
IMAP related problem, or something else? Any Ideas?

Since you know that the message was sent out correctly as it can be received
by other users, I'd say this is something your friend needs to take up with
AOL support.
