Trouble sending E-mails

I have Netzero and did the selection to use windows mail. Can receive fine.
Problem is SMTP error Domain name.
Have tried with and without caps lock on- no effect.
Is it asking for the E-mail Address such as:( ******@ netzero.com or @
netzero.net,) unsure which is the domain name com or net. have tried both.
Please someone help.
