Hello,
I send a list of satellite tracking info to a small group of people I
send the data as a .txt file. Lately some have complained that the
columns of data are out of line or the data is all gibberish. I a
using XP Pro SP3 with all updates and Hotmail as the mail program.
I send the data as an attachment not in the message body.
If I send it to myself it looks fine.
Some are using Win7 others use Yahoo Mail. Somehow the formatting that
keeps the data in line is being lost. I know I can take a screenshot
of the Notepad being open with the data and send it as a .jpg. Or I
guess I can send it as a .pdf.
But the question is how is the data being corrupted so it can't be
easily read? I thought a .txt file was the simplest way to send them
the data since that's the way it comes out of the program that
generates the predictions.
What to do?
Thanks in advance to any and all who reply.
