trouble opening PDF files in Outlook after Adobe 7.0 upgrade

I am unable to open PDF attachements in Outlook (NOT OUTLOOK EXPRESS) with
Windows XP operating system after downloading upgrade Adobe 7.0. I am able
to save the file and then open in Adobe but cannot click on the attachment
directly to open it. This is costing me a ton of time. Anyone know how to
fix? Thanks.
 
What happens when you double click the attachment?
Is there an error message?

Have seen this issue before in another group. Adobe 7.0 has a bit of an issue. You might want to consider to Update to their 7.03 or the 7.05 version where this and other issues with the 7.0 version has been corrected
 
If you are unable to open any email attachment, may be an IE advanced
setting, or your AV configuration setting.
