trouble installing windows programs

I have trouble installing most microsoft Windows programs. I cannot install
updates. I get a message that says it does not pass Windows testing. I even
tried to install SP from a cd and it would not install.

Do you have a real or legitimate version of Windows as opposed to a bootleg
copy?
