Trouble installing HP8180 WiFi printer with Vista

Mac

We keep getting a Fatal Error when installing the HP wireless printer. We are
working with the CD that HP supplied specially for Vista.

The install gets close to finishing that then we get the message of a Fatal
Error. Does anyone have a solution to this, or help so that we can get the
printer and software loaded up and working?

thanks

Hi Allan, I have added the error message that we get when installed the
printer CD. It was labled as install for Vista. We called HP and after 1 hour
of them trying to help us, they said that MS Vista has two files missing from
the operating system and that they have encounter this issue with others
before. Any help or sugestions would be wonderful?

Sorry I'm not much of a setup guy. What files are missing?

Did you scan the network using Add Printer? Did this find the network
device?
