Trojan Problems

Hi All,

I recently purchased a new PC with all the "Mod Cons"
etc. I have installed all the relevant firewall,
antivirus software on the PC.

The problem I have is that the machine is infected with a
Trojac called "quick search bar" and as a result the PC
takes more than 5 minutes to boot up, and also does not
show the taskbar at the bottom of the PC. I am unable to
see the start by pressing the windows key button either.

When I attempt to clear the Trojan using Adawre se Pro,
and also spybot search & destroy the machine always
crashes, and I have to reboot.

Is there any way I can solve this problem?

Any kind of information would be greatly received.

Try to click on the searschbar if ya see it. If verything is correct you
will get a site where you get instruction to remove it. If this doesn't work
try to press ctrl-alt-del go to processes and searsch a process wich has
something to do with that searshbar. After this scan your comp with adaware
and if it's correct you can remove it.

Run them in safe mode. Also use these tools:

If you’re still having problems after running these then run HijackThis
and post the log to one of the specialty forums, _NOT_ this one.
