***TROJAN HORSE HELP NEEDED***

Please help me. I have a trojan horse of the 'SWIZZOR' type and seem unable to get rid of it. My avg anti virus is alerting me to its presance, but then missing it when i scan to delete it. What can i do?

Hi,

Do the scan in Safe mode. Restart the system and hit F8 as Windows begins to
reload, select safe mode from the menu and logon as administrator. Then run
the full system scan, the infecting file will not be active, and AVG can
easily remove it.

If they work but the pest comes back after a reboot try looking for suspect
processes that are either running all the time or are loaded briefly at
startup. Check them out here...

Trojan viruses need to be manually removed.

Go to" http://ts.mcafeehelp.com/

Click on search and then type in the search field, "Trogan." It will bring
up instructions on how ot remove them. Run your virus scan and get the exact
name of the virus. It will help in narrowing down what kind of trogan you
have.
