Trojan.ByteVerify

This virus has added a porn tool bar to me IE. How can I
remove it?

Hi,

Trojan.ByteVerify is a variant of the CoolWebSearch
hijacker.
Download and run CWShredder:

I would strongly recommend to get a spyware detection
program, such as Adaware (http://www.lavasoft.de) and run
this once a month.

Also make sure your antivirus definitions are up-to-date.
Norton Antivirus (and others) should be able to clean this
up.

Tim Thanks for your repply. I will try that. Just a note I
do have norton cooperate and am up to date. When I do a
scan it does find the virus but it can't remove it or even
quarantine it. It does let me know which file I need to
delete "APQ63.tmp" but when I attempt to delete it using
microsoft file manager if fails.
