If you are trying it using Windows Mail, make sure that all other
programs using the file you want to attach are closed. Then in
the new message window, click on Insert and then File Attachment,
then find the file and click on it.
If that doesn't help, show us the full error messages you get if any
when trying to send a message with an attachment.
