Treo Phone

i installled windows mobile device center on my Tablet PC and i can connect
the phone and see my pictures and my SD card but it will not transfer the
Contact and my calender from my Pc. my machine has windows Vista business and
office 2007 business.
i saw one other question on a Treo but there was no solution to this but to
install
WMDC
is there a problem with Vista and aTreo's running WMPPC 2005?

Windows Mobile devices will only sync with Outlook, not Windows Mail. Are
you using Outlook 2007 for your default email program?

Yes, i am using Office 2007 Enterprise version.
i also had installed laplink synch software for vista to have
my Treo synch with multiple pc's. after several attempts
to have them all Work toghether and failling misserably
i uninstalled the laplink software and this did not make
any difference.
WMDC did register in the log file once as it had synch but infact it had not.
all attemps after this failed also to synch, for the heck of it I uninstalled
everything and reinstalled and nothing so far has worked.
the only way i can keep my contacts updated in my tablet is to copy
my .pst from my XP desktop
