trashing attachments

Dear Group,

I am 89% and trying to find all attachments to trash them. I put
attachments in the search my mail but only came up with l20 and trashed
them but I am sure that there must be more or why else would i be using
89% of my allotted space? How else do I find attachments?

Wouldn't it be easier just to archive older mail to an archive PST?
 
Dear Kathleen,

That is what I keep trying to figure out , how to delete what I've
already deleted. I use safari and if I right click on it I don't get
properties, I know that is the problem everything is sitting in the
delete folder and would love to see them and delete forever. Do you
have an idea how it works on safari?

Best and sorry for my ignorance, I went through the forum and did not
find the answer there. I know your answer seems super clear but not for
safari.
