trap 00000005 exception

when booting my computer, it will go thru the
initialization and boot sector and then I get a black
screen error of trap 00000005 exception. This is as far as
it will go.I am running win2k on a Dell Precision 450
workstation. Can anyone help me solve this problem.

Trap messages are hardware related. I would replace/remoce RAM as a start
and see if that helps. Some hardware on your system is causing the issue
basically.
