On Importing from an exported Outlook 2003 (SP2) .pst file to a Outlook 2003
(SP2) file I get this --
Translation Warning*
You are importing data to a location that does not fully support Unicode.
To avoid loss multilingual data, it is recommended that you choose a
location that supports Unicode, such as a Microsoft Office Outlook Personal
Folders File.
Why? The Calendar and contacts are folders of my Outlook Personal Folders,
aren't they?

Is the PST file you're importing into a Unicode (Outlook 2003 format) PST?
Right click on the root of the Personal Folders, choose Properties then
click Advanced

When I click "Advanced", it says -- Form: Personal Folders File (97-2002)
I don't see where to change to Unicode, which I gather is desirable.

No, I have Outlook 2002 with the just released SP-2.

You can't change it. You can create another PST file and move all your data
to it then use that PST file as your default one.
