transition speed PPT2007

Anyone know how to set transition speed, other than the three choices? I need
a much slower transition fade than what is available.
 
Hi

I'm afraid only the defaults are available. What look are you trying to
achieve as someone may have a workaround? For example, you could use a
custom animation fade out of a picture of the end state of the old slide, at
the beginning of your new slide.

Hi,

i just delivered a presentation that had 183 images on a single slide
because of this. Your only options is to put your stuff on a single slide,
or get a screen shot of your next slide, dump it in and try to fake it.

I know it doesn't help now, but PPT 2010 has transition times so you should
be able to do this when it comes out.
