transition server setup not completed

First we installed FrontPage2000 using a computer with win98. Error message
came up saying we needed to add on personal web server. Used Win98 disk to
download the pws setup.exe. Then got message that MS transition server set
up was not completed. Now we are really stuck. Where do we go from here?
 
FP2000 doesn't require the PWS unless you want to test locally. However you can disregard any error
message about the Transaction server as the PWS will work correctly without it.

Actually, the more I think about it I would:
Uninstall FrontPage.
Restart.
Reinstall PWS.
Restart.
Reinstall FrontPage
Restart.

Actually we imported the website using the wizard and now all seems to be
working well.Thanks so much for all the help!!!
 
Glad you figured it out.
Seems in the end about the only thing I mentioned that might have helped was the bit about Happy
Hour.
