Transition and special effects

Every time I try to add special effects or transitions
windows media player shuts down when ever i click on a
image transition. What do i do to fix this problem?

Hi there,

It sounds like you have a codec issue...its very common, and because of
that I wrote a program that solves it for you. You can download "Rename
Codecs" from my website. Read the instructions to the right of the download
Icon before you proceed. There is a warning that will appear part way into
the program that is designed to give you a chance to back out if you want
to...after some complaints I will be making it less dramatic in the next
release.
