Transferring to a new Computer

I am building a new computer that will have XP Pro as an
OS. I want to transfer the settings, files and programs
from my Win2000 Pro machine to the new XP machine.

Where are some references that can give me some options
for doing this with the least hassle.

Myrt,

you alredy got good information. In case you want to transfer
the entire installation, which is more difficult, please have a
look at http://www.michna.com/kb/WxMove.htm.
