Transferring ppt slides to Word doc

Office XP on win98SE.

I have a .ppt file having some 35 slides, each having text
written in header/body in textboxes.

How do I save it as MS Word .doc files, so that

1. text part of .ppt slides reaches the doc file and I can
edit that in word?

2. it should be a single .doc file.
