I recently had a virus in my computer and paid for
an "expert" to fix it. He cleaned the virus but said I
had lost all my files. I discovered that he installed my
opertating system (Windows XP Profesional) on F drive
insted of C drive. All my files are in still in C drive
and I can't access them. In addition I can't download
much on F as I am short of disk space even though I have
very few applications.
Does anyone know how I can tranfer XP back to C drive?
I don't have the XP disk.

.

You must have some means to restoring the PC to it's
original condition. If you bought a retail copy of XP
then you will have the disk. If it was a preinstalled
copy that came with the computer, then you will have
either a restore disc or a hidden partition on the
computer. You should consult your documentation on how to
perform a factory restore. Alternatively, contact
this "expert" and tell him did reinstalled incorrectly and
that you want him to sort his error out, at no cost to
you :)
