Transferring my e-mail messages from Windows Live Mail to Outlook

I wanted to transfer my e-mail messages (not just my contacts) from Windows
Live Mail to Outlook 2007. What is the best way to do this?

Does WLM have an export function?

Yes, WLM has an export function but I saved the files in WLM format and
cannot import it into Outlook, or point to the location where i saved it when
importing into Outlook.
