Transfering your Email base

How do I transfer everything that has built up in Outlook
or Outlook Express to a new computer. And also to save
when upgrading to a newer operating system. These would
be contacts, old email that need saved, etc.
 
Create .pst file exporting everything in your Outlook
Personal folder and copy that file to your new system.
Then import the .pst file to your Outlook in your new
system
