I am getting a new computer and I want to know if I can
load XP and Office XP on it. I know I can't use it on
both computers but I will no longer be using the old one.
How do I go about doing this?

Are your copies of XP and Office retail or OEM? If they're retail,
they can be removed from the old machine and installed on the new one.
(OEM copies are supposed to remain with the original hardware.)
Just remove from the old machine and install on the new one. You will
be required to activate them again.

But, if you're getting a new machine, it should already have XP
pre-installed unless the new machine you're getting is only "new" to
you.

If these are retail copies, all you need to do is take them off
the old computer and install them on the new one.

If they are OEM copies (for example, if they came with the
computer), no you can't do that; the OEM license restricts them
to the first computer they are installed on.
