transfering outlook archives to another computer

one of my laptops died, but i was able to retrieve my outlook.pst file and
other files in my Outlook system folder on to a CD.

now i don't know how get my new computer to open and/or use these files as
my permenant file.

I would like to recover my calander, contacts and old emails.....
