Transfering Master Category List

Is there any way to transfer the master category list from an Outlook 98
system to an Outlook 2003 system on a different computer? I have already
moved the pst file but it apparently does not hold the master category list.

Diane:
Thanks for your reply.
I have followed the instructions in
http://www.slipstick.com/outlook/olcat.htm. I have no problem in finding
"Categories" in my WIN98se registry. However in my new WIN XL PRO SR-2, I
can navigate to: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\11.0\Outlook,
but I don't see a "Categories" key. Please take a look at your own
installation to see if you can find the "Categories" key. I have a dual bood
installtion with WIN XP PRO and Office 2003 on both partitions and I cant
find the key in either registry.
thanks....ralph

the key is not created until you add one custom category... so I do have
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\11.0\Outlook\Categories
