Transfer Vista activation

Hi,

I bought a home premium upgrade for my xp media centre PC. Having installed
and activated, it runs VERY slowly.

Have now bought a lap top with home basic and would like to upgrade it to
home premium instead of the media pc by transfering over the home premium
activation key.

I'll then restore the media centre PC back to XP.

How can I do this....

Hi Richard,

Reinstall XP Media Center to the PC cleanly. Install the Vista upgrade to
the laptop, use the phone activation method. If asked, simply state that
you've removed it from one system and are installing it on another.
