Transfer Text won't overwrite existing file

Hi
I am using Access 2000. I am trying to output a file as a csv, using
Transfer Text. If the output filename already exists, the action fails -
even with Warnings set to No. Is this normal? If so, I guess I'll have to a)
check if the output filename already exists and then b) delete it if it does
(seems a bit of a daft route to go!).
Thanks for any assistance!

Yes, that's normal. What you're proposing as an alternative is the correct
way to do it.

Are you sure it is because the file exists already? I overwrite
existing files all the time. The reason TransferText fails for me is
that I've changed the fields exported and I have to re-save the export
specification. There's a "Save As" option somewhere during the File,
Export process from within Microsoft Access).
