Transfer Text - import from row 3 onwards?

Lynniebud

Hi,

If I have a text file which has 2 headings I don't want, can I import the
file from row 3 on, and if so how can I do this? If I have to manually link
the file I will, but I'd rather use "transfer text" in a macro if it's
possible.

Thanks in advance!

TransferText only has the ability to ignore the first row (and only if it
contains the names of the fields)

Lynniebud,

One option may be to use TransferText to import the entire file, and then
after it is in the Access table, use applicable action queries (Delete or
Append) to clean out the unwanted records.
